I have read so many articles on how to stop masturbation and so on, with so much emphasis on the fact that it takes 90 days to break an habit. Please note, there is psychology, and there is the way of the spirit.
No man is strong enough to break himself free from the bondage of iniquity.

The other day I talked about embracing the Ministry of boosters; a system with which you keep adding woods to your fire so as to be constantly on fire for God.
Masturbation is a symptom that you are operating in the domain of the flesh, it has never been on its own. Masturbation often moves hand in hand with pornography. Without stimulation that comes from what you see and hear, there won’t be masturbation. Masturbation is simply a way of responding to such stimulation.
There are plenty Christian folks and none Christian folks who are currently battling with this habit, and permit me to tell you that it doesn’t leave with time, it leaves as you leave its domain of influence.
Let’s break it down.
When you are perpetually under the glory of God, the thought to masturbate doesn’t even smell that domain at that moment.
When you are fired up as you are listening to a message, the thought of immorality doesn’t smell that domain, it vanishes. The mistake most of us are making is that we perpetually journey downwards outside the Sphere of God’s glory.

We carelessly allow thoughts, seeds, and influences that empower the flesh sip in.
Don’t kill yourself trying to win the flesh, be power assisted! You will be frustrated trying to do the job of the Holy Spirit, stay perpetually filled, stay perpetually occupied with kingdom thoughts, let God’s word dwell in you richly, as you give yourself to this, you are empowering your spirit man, and the flesh will be automatically suppressed as you do that.

Someone might say that Paul said he put his body under subjection, the same Paul went on to explain in Romans 6:16 that whosoever you yield yourself servant to obey, the servant you are to whom you obey, whether of sin unto death or of obedience unto righteousness.
Romans 6:16: Don't you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living {NLT}.
Paul talked about yielding, not doing! Yield yourselves rather to the tune of the spirit, you can’t be in charge, allow him take the lead.
Don’t make the mistake of trying to subdue the flesh, that’s not your job, your own assignment is to fellowship with the Holy Spirit, so that your spirit man can be fanned to flame, and the flesh simultaneously will be suppressed.

Masturbation should not be your focus, intimacy should be.
